LTC Honjiyo, of 1/20's Bn XO and commander of Taskforce Honjiyo, is nominating Bravo's3rd Plt Leader Lt Bill Illingworth for the Silver Star for his valiant action on 12 October 1970. This is based on newly found documentation by 2nd Plt's Lt Korona.

Declassified S2/S3 journals, maps, and photos from the National Archives II's (Thanks to Jeanine Swift and Cliff Snyder) and unit personnel. Echo 1/20 remained in Vietnam with transportation unit until 1972 and there is a separate file for this time period.
